Nana is coming!

We are so excited to have Nana (my mom) visit for the weekend! And to make it even better, she's bringing her fabulous sugar cookies! Yeah!

My friend Katie took some pictures of us yesterday. It was cold and windy, but the kids hung in there and she did a great job!

Saturday was the party with her friends. They all had a great time and got along beautifully! Yeah for growing up!

Dump Trucks!

When Alex was around 2 years old, I bought him a dump truck at Tar.get. He loved it! When Emma came along, she loved it, too! Soooo, we had to get another one! Thankfully they had them last spring, too!

This morning, both had them filled with treasures. Alex - trucks, Emma - babies!

Daddy caught them and took some pictures!

Ta-da! These trucks work great!

All is well!

This afternoon we had our appointment with the OB. The ultra-sound showed that the bleed had completely healed already! We are so very thankful!

Our little "guy" was moving a lot. He even waved to us! The ultra-sound tech gave us a picture that shows a little hand with five fingers! How amazing that at 12 weeks we are able to get such detailed pictures!

And the results are in!!

We are pleased to announce that a little BOY will be joining our family! Although our name is already picked out, we're waiting until we have ultra-sound confirmation before we share!

I was looking through a magazine from my OB's office when I noticed an advertisement for this...


Apparently it can tell you with 80% accuracy (90% in their lab) what gender baby you're having! As long as you're in between 10 and 34 weeks. So, we plan to take the test in the morning! I think it will be fun to see if it's accurate after I have my 20 week ultra-sound.

Our 4th anniversary is on Thursday. I made this video for Joe. He's an amazing husband and father.

Friday night fun!

We met some friends on Friday night at a local play area. It was so much fun and we can't wait to go back! Thanks for playing with us Henry and Sam!

The kids waited in line to get a balloon creation! They didn't get to pick, they got what the balloon maker decided! :)

Ear infections...

Any idea why a 13 year old would start getting ear infections? Don't you think three (2 right 1 left) in seven weeks is a bit much?

Dress up!

These costumes were Aunt Katie's dance costumes. I got them this summer but we just now pulled them out to play! When Joe learned of our morning he declared that we need some boy dress up outfits! All I know is that they both had a lot of fun and weren't fighting with each other!

Weekend with Nana!

Sorry I'm so behind on blogging! Mom, I know you've been looking for these since you left on Sunday! I've been feeling so sick which is how I was when I was pregnant with Alex. Maybe it's a boy!

Nana came to visit on Friday. Alex kept saying every day all week that he wanted Nana to "come NOW". Friday couldn't come soon enough! There were some cars he has seen at Wal-M.art and he wanted them so badly! My suggestion was to wait until Nana comes! :) Anyway, Nana took Alex and Emma to the store. Apparently Alex found some change in the van and wanted to "buy Mommy a surprise". How sweet! Nana thought he had forgotten about it after they found the car and Emma some musical keys. Alex then insisted that they needed to get me something! He was ready to buy it with his money! They were on their way to the magazines (I admit, I'm addicted to USWe.ekly, etc.) when he spotted the red roses. How darling! He wanted to get them for me and was so excited to run in the house to show me!

Yesterday I was telling him much I love the flowers. He then said to me, "I will get you new ones when they go away." He is such a sweetie!
