Alex

Alex brought this home from pre-school yesterday.

As I was raving about what a beautiful house he made, he informed me that, "Miss Sue said I need to stay in the lines."

It very much reminded me of my brother, Chuck and his trials with cutting. I remember him sitting at our kitchen table working to fill a fish bowl with pieces of construction paper so that his kindergarten teacher would deem him a worthy cutter of paper!

That little kindergartener that couldn't cut (and had terrible hand-writing) is now a radiation oncology resident! We are so very proud of him and all of his hard work!

Uncle Chuck has a special place in his heart for these two.

I remember when Alex was born and every one said he looked so much like Chuck. My surly brother fell head over heels in love with Alex! His nephew could get him to do anything! Including crawling around on the floor like a puppy!

We love you Uncle Chuck!
