Joe talked to him about bringing some cars we bought yesterday. He then seemed excited. When it was time to go, he said, "Mommy, can you get my pack-pack". (I love how he says "pack-pack") Anyway, I said I would and then he went running into the living room crying that he didn't want to go.
I pretty much ignore it and am business-like in that I don't baby him, but it's so hard!!
When we got to pre-school he clung to me. I carried him to the room. I know, not the best idea, but I didn't want him hysterically crying as we walked across the church.
When we got to his room he kept saying "Mommy, I need to tell you something." I finally took off his back pack and told him to tell Miss Laura he brought cars to show and that I would see him when he's done. She is such a great teacher and right away said, "Wow, Alex, what's on your shirt?" It was trucks, so hopefully that helped him feel better.
I didn't stick around to find out...

Leaving the boys is tough for me... especially when they cry-- but when they are in a solid routine it seems to go very smooth! Right now they wave and make faces at me through the window every morning and I have not had a tear in weeks!
